Rural Countryside Tour

I’ll be on the road  heading home when this post goes live, so I won’t have the opportunity to respond to comments until I get home. Meanwhile I want to share with you some of the scenery in eastern Montana that I found so beautiful.

Near this little reservoir made for watering livestock, I found evidence of another inhabitant that I hadn’t expected to find. I should have put something beside this turtle to show its relative size, but I wasn’t thinking about that at the time. I would estimate that the shell was about 10 to 12 inches long.

Imagine if you were lucky enough to have had this view any time you looked out your window. The houses aren’t fancy, but they have a farmy beauty that I find very special.

And I love, love, love the trip to Montana each year. A photographer’s paradise. The paradise part is in place already. Now I just have to work on my photography, but what a place to practice!!!
