This morning when I did my walk
I had to brave the rain.
I trotted like a racehorse
Just to hurry home again.
Once in the door, my feet were wiped,
A towel rubbed me dry.
I lay down on my usual place
And let out a big sigh.
Then came my treat, a nice warm throw
Just taken from the dryer.
The toasty warmth was better than
A rocker by the fire.
I snuggled in and closed my eyes
The people smiled at me.
I didn’t move a muscle and
Was quite content, you see.

Ivy looks like a sweetie, and apparently loves being spoiled. 🙂 Cute little poem to go with that priceless photo. ❤ The things we do for our little critters.

Thanks for reading, Pat. I’m visiting my sister-in-law. She’s the one who sent you the little package. It’s her dog in the photo.

Then I owe her some word of thanks. I’m still using that beautiful bag. When my “rememberer” is working. 🙂

So glad to hear it. It worked out well that she was visiting me and could take it home with her to mail from Washington.

Thanks, KB. I wish I could have someone pamper me like that, and put a warm blanket on me right from the dryer.

What a beautiful moment. I could just imagine it. It inspires me to go out for a walk on a rainy day. I usually stay inside on those days…and eat. LOL
