I love that this little guy is with you by choice–a pet but free-ranging one. My dog would never leave me either. He wears no collar (though I must leash him when we walk through the neighborhood).
That’s one thing I like about the squirrels. They look after themselves and they respond when I help them out. Glad to hear your dog is so well-behaved and also that you leash him just the same when you walk through the neighbourhood. The right thing to do!
