      LOL! I noticed that just before I posted it, Allan. I was checking the category list and tags, and I realized they’re all birds. That’s why I added that comment about those critters that are camera shy. Oh well, it’s bluebird day, so why not? Best of the new year to you too.

    Was für ein wunderschöner Artikel! Hier zeigen uns unsere kleinen Freunde sehr anschaulich, wie wir mit cleveren Tipps und guten Ideen das neue Jahr zu einem Erfolg machen können. Anneli, ich liebe deine Tiergeschichten sehr, denn sie zaubern immer wieder ein Lächeln auf meine Lippen.

      I keep thinking of my father at times like this when someone flatters me and I like it. He told about a guy who held out an open box of chocolates to a woman for her to take one. She said something very nice to him and he offered her another one. She said more nice things and he said, “Keep it up and you can have the whole box.” “Mach weiter. Kriegst die ganze Kiste.” It’s probably better called a Schachtel, but my dad, being from
      Berlin would have said Kiste.
      Anyway, Rosie, it makes me very happy that you like my pictures and the conversations my menagerie animals and birds have with each other. It’s a bit childish, but that’s the fun of it. Sometimes it’s nice for us adults to smile about childish things again.
