I followed the frog prints and found a real frog prince. Now, before we begin, Froggie wants everyone to know … he REALLY is a prince. He just needs a kiss.
(Unfortunately, anyone who has picked him up lately has told him, “KISS you? … I’d rather have a talking frog.”)
Gelatine fingers
Hold on when he lingers,
Racing stripe – fashion
To show he has passion.
In one eager bound
He will leap to the ground,
Hop to obscurity
Quick for security.

You mean you didn’t kiss him??? 😉 Fantastic pictures, Anneli and I like your poem. Their little froggy feet are so delicate.

Oh, how cute! 🐸💚 The little green frog prince with his black stripes looks like he could tell a fairy tale right away! I’m sure a kiss would transform him into a handsome and charming prince—and then you could plan a magical coronation celebration by the pond with his frog friends! 👑✨
Anneli, I wish you and the little frog all the best!

A sad day in the life of a frog prince. No kisses from his fair Anneli! 😀

“KISS you? … I’d rather have a talking frog.” This made me smile, princes are everywhere, but not talking frogs.

The frogs have woken up here too, Anneli, though I haven’t seen any. You have a handsome fellow there and a fun poem. 🙂

He seemed extra friendly, and hung around long enough for me to get his picture. Thanks for your visit, Amanda.

LOL! I’m new at frog-talk, but those could very well be the words he was trying to sing. I think he had a bit of laryngitis. Sounded kind of croaky, but maybe he had … “a frog in his throat”?

I was glad he sat still long enough for me to get the camera, but he didn’t hang around for a kiss so we may never know if there is still a prince lost in the shrubbery near our house.
