How wonderful, Anneli! Fresh bread. Mmmm. No wind here but lots of rain and very grey skies. I had my Covid and flu jabs today and as a result not feeling well so M made chicken noodle soup. Also wonderful on a wet grey not-feeling-great day.

i share your attitude anneli. i’m not baking my own bread but i love cooking for friends and family and it makes me happy. on cooler days i tremendously enjoy having a look at what’s around (fridge and kitchen) and cook up a storm!

I can’t imagine having to eat store bought bread, but at least there are better options now than we had in the days of Wonder bread (where you wonder how anyone can eat it).

I used to bake my own bread on the Charlottes. But since I am here it doesn´t make sense because the bakeries here have wonderfull sorts of bread. If I see your bread it makes me want to try to make a nice loaf of bread on a cold day to see if I still can do it. Thanks for the picture of your lecker looking, still warm bread and for the little poem to go with the bread.

As I remember it, you made fantastic bread, but if you can buy good bread there’s no need to bake it unless you enjoy doing it.
