A perfect quatrain for someone who works outdoors, and who sometimes can’t work because of that rain with breezes (or fog, or strong wind, or cold, or heat!)
A weather friend of mine always says, if you want to know what the weather is doing, look out the window. Our forecast is all over the map and it looks like we are heading for the January thaw with temps later this week up to +7. A little consistency would not hurt, but then what would Canadians have to talk about? Happy Tuesday Anneli. Allan
So much uncertainty when it comes to the weather. I continue to be amazed at forecasts that seem to be more “off” than ever. You’d think with advanced technology we’d be getting better at it, but it just goes to show you how uncertain the weather is. Gorgeous afternoon capture here!

That’s a gorgeous sunset (sunrise?) picture, Anneli. Very evocative of winter weather.

You’re right! In some people’s lives the weather is right up there in importance – like anything involving boating.

The weather teases us, making changes without asking our opinions.

Exactly! We just have to take what we get.

Yes, and the weather thinks we need to be frozen, maybe we will stay fresh longer.

I had to hurry to grab the camera because the cloud shapes were changing so fast.

Down here, it’s the rain. One moment, Weather App predicts it. An hour later–poof. Gone!

I’ve learned that it’s a very inexact science.

Indeed, and maybe mirroring the crazy world politics.
