Fierce Competition

Same old kiblets from the bag,

No enhancements added,

But the squirrel is such a nag,

Trying hard to grab it.

If I’m picky I’ll lose out,

“Get your own, you sneak,

Lucky I don’t bite your snout,

Then we’d hear you squeak.”

As I can see, Emma has some sweet company while she is eating. I like your little poem and the picture.

Good to see Emma has a squirrely as well. Benji has one he likes to play with, which creates issues when he spots real squirrels outdoors. Have a good Friday Anneli. Allan

I see videos of people turning squirrels into pets and feeding them. Not for me!

Anneli, your poem and photo leaves me smiling this morning – I don’t think your dog has much to worry about! Now if it was a real squirrel, she should be truly worried! 😀

If it were a real squirrel it would be dead in a flash and then she’d wonder why it wasn’t moving anymore. I go to great lengths to keep her away from where the local squirrels hang out. Nice to hear that my poem and photo put a smile on your face. Thank you.

I think it’s easier to eat old kibble when there’s someone who’s also interested.
It seems that the croquettes are suddenly tastier. 😀😀

I see the competition isn’t too fierce. A fun-filled post.
