Agreed, these recent winds have been brutal. Your haiku certainly matches that photo!

I think they get a lot of harsh weather in Montana.

The photo makes your haiku so real, so true.

A trailer in Montana is not a great idea, but I saw a fair bit of damage on some older houses too. They must get some really bad winds there.

I really enjoyed your haiku this morning (as I watch the wind whip around the snow outside my window).

Oh, brrrr! I’m sorry for you. Our snow just disappeared in the rain yesterday but the wind was bitter cold.

That photo puts the mobile in mobile home. Your kaiku describes this winter to a T. Have a good Sunday Anneli. Allan

As soon as I read ‘rocking and rolling,’ I was back in the 1950s. Some thought that version of rocking and rolling would tip society on its side.

Yes, it was quite revolutionary at the time, and you see – it did tip society on its side, at least in some parts of the country.

Dear Anneli
That must have been quite a wind.
We think we have wild winds here, but not as furious.
Thanks and Cheers

We saw several sights like this when we visited Montana.

I can believe it, Brad. The wind can really move over that part of the country. We saw a fair bit of evidence of wind damage when we visited Montana. I don’t think I’d want to try to weather the storm in a trailer.

Your haiku goes very well together with the picture. Sweet home was rocking and rolling.

Yes, it was rocking and rolling, all right. I hope the people weren’t inside when the trailer flipped.

It must have been terrifying if the people were there when it blew over.
