Dear Anneli
Great picture and poem. But as Ursula writes, these roses have the tendency to take over the garden.
Have a happy weekend

I have never tried to plant these in my garden and now I shan’t after all the comments about them taking over. I am just lucky to see them on my forest walks and enjoy their colour and scent. Happy Friday Anneli. Allan
British wild roses aren’t out yet, but should be soon. Out hedgerows are at present covered in white hawthorn blossom and the verges with oxeye daisies. A riot of white.
Soon the roses will come and we’ll have blushing hedges.

The little Alberta wild roses are so pretty. After having lived there I always think of them as Alberta roses. Lovely picture.

The wild roses are very pretty but I hate it if they try to take over my garden. Your little poem says it all.

Yes, they are not great in a garden but they grow everywhere else around here.

Just like in Dornroeschen. I wouldn’t plant it in my garden but it’s very pretty on the roadsides. Have a great weekend too, FF of C.

These pretty roses reminded me of my mother’s rose bushes. A nice Mother’s Day thought. ❤

Oh, no. I’m sorry to hear that. Another follower has told me he can’t comment on my posts. WP has some work to do. Thanks for persisting!
