Sea Monster

A sea monster stuck high and dry,

Was struggling and wondering why,

Antennae and arms,

His usual charms,

Did nothing his death to defy.

Playing the What’s it look like game is always fun. Even better with a limerick. Happy Thursday Anneli. Allan

I love the pic and the poem. Reminds me of one snow storm where we found a piece of a tree near the driveway. Based on its broken shape, we “replanted” it to serve as stoic, proud antlers sticking out of the snow for the next several days.

Poor monster, it looks like he is having a hard time. I like the poem to go with the picture.

Some of those twisted, dead trees do look like monsters. I posted one once from a forest.

I can’t remember how to put the snowflakes on the blog. I know I’ve done it in years past. Maybe they don’t offer it to a free blog anymore?

Here, today, we have high winds warning. Hope there will be no monsters. Your poem, Anneli, captured the essence of being victim of Nature.
