A woman made bags from a rag,
And yet her dear husband would nag,
“If you don’t stop sewing, I’m leaving, I’m going.”
“Just wait,” she said. “You’ll need a bag.”
***** Disclaimer:
The Captain is very supportive of my sewing efforts, and (so far) he’s not packing his bags.

That’s okay. Just add it at the end of your note. “I don’t know how to put my name on.” –Ursula.

I do spend a lot of time sewing, but we each have our hobbies. No use nagging.

I was sure this one was going to be an Uglybag, but by the time I got finished, it didn’t look too bad.

I had no idea it was made from rags, the colors and patterns are nice, Anneli! ☺️

Well, maybe not rags, but they were discontinued upholstery samples. Remember the old wallpaper sample books? It was like that but with drapes and upholstery samples.

Oh, okay, I do remember those books. My mom loved wallpaper. It doesn’t seem to used so much these days. Kinda like carpet.

Right. Wallpaper had its run but now people are more into painting their walls except for some feature walls with wood or slate.

Perfect, Brad! I just had an idea. I could put my “honeydew” list for the Captain in a Nag Bag.

That is a fun poem but the husband in the poem is ungrateful. He should be happy.

He really is grateful because I’ve also made several shirts for him, but he’s a good sport when I pick on him in fun.

I may give the bag away sometime, but the hubby … think I’ll try to hang onto him for a while longer.
