A pretty butterfly Anneli. This version never makes it here, but the Canadian tiger swallowtails should be flitting about soon. Have a great weekend. Allan

The swallowtail is a really beautiful butterfly that I did not know about until I read. A very nice Haiku.

And what a beauty she is! I haven’t seen any butterflies here yet, but the hummingbirds arrived last week so spring has definitely sprung (well, except for the 40 degree nights). :-0

Beautiful creatures. The Tiger is my second favorite butterfly only losing out to the Zebra Longwing.

Your haiku offers such a wonderfully lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek perspective on nature—almost as if the butterfly itself knows just how well its “outfit” suits it 😉. And the accompanying photo is truly beautiful: the delicate markings on the wings, that blend of fragility and almost fashionable elegance—one understands immediately why the “Western Tiger Swallowtail” makes such an impression, and not just in a botanical sense. I particularly love how your haiku captures this moment with a blend of both humor and precision: nature as a runway—yet entirely without vanity, but rather with a sense of supreme, effortless self-assurance.

    Best wishes….Rosie from Germany
