Awww, such adorable pictures, Anneli! Lovely. Yes, where can a little horse go to have a nap?

Luckily it was great weather so almost anywhere made a great bed for napping.

Thanks, Grant. That was the only young horse in the group and we enjoyed watching it.

It looks like a nice big field to choose from 😊. Fine photos and haiku.

Huge field, but the horses like to hang out near the road in case of a handout or a visitor.

Your lovely poem reminds me how important a nap time is for me that I do not wish to get interrupted.

Yes, a nap is really nice and it’s so short that to interrupt it is to ruin the whole thing.

That is a beautiful horse. Is that a wild horse? Headed back to his/her herd?

I fell in love with this very pretty horse. Too bad that we disturbed her or his nap.
Beautiful picture and a nice haiku.

Thank you, Ursula. I would love to be able to pet a young horse. I think their fur is softer than the adult horses’, but I seem to remember that they sometimes tend to nip people until they learn not to do that.

Next time you go by there, you bring an apple so it won´t nip you.
