Roberta Robin wonders if it’s a good time to have a bath.
“How do you think the water is?” she asks her brother Ricky.
“Lukewarm,” he says. So Roberta jumps in.
“Brrr!” Roberta shivers as her downy breast feathers mat together. “I thought you said it was lukewarm,” she scolds.
Ricky shrugs. “Look warm to me.”

I like seeing them around our area. The crows are hard on them though.

Well, they have to eat, but I wish they’d go vegetarian.

We’re keeping an eye on Mama Robin and her three eggs nesting in the wreath on the front porch. My best to Roberta and Ricky.

I love it – both the pics and your commentary.
When I was a child, my Mum subscribed to “Women’s Weekly” magazine. Every week, there was a small story for children about the Robin Family. The wee daughter was Rowena, but I think Mum might have been Roberta. I can’t remember Dad’s name or the son’s, but one of them might have been Richard.

Like me, that author must have been scrambling for names that begin with R.
